    The Doorknocker Bed and Breakfast is a Tudor style Mansion on one acre of gardens located in Richmond, just over the bridge from Vancouver. Richmond is home to YVR Vancouver International Airport, it is only 15 minutes away and we have NO airport noise! Historic Steveston Village with fantastic fresh seafood restaurants, fish and chips and dozens more top restaurants, quaint shops and wonderful walks, the Olympic Speed Skating Oval, Richmond Centre Mall, Lansdowne Centre Mall, Aberdeen Mall and every type of shop you could want are all located on the main street. The innkeepers have a unique collection of doorknockers which they have been collecting for years from their travels that cover the surface of their front doors . The home is decorated with an artistic flare using color, antiques, elegantly themed rooms, and original art throughout the home, your hostess Jeanette is a professional artist and has a studio and Gallery on site. Visit the sample gallery of paintings. Innkeepers Jeanette and Chris have created a unique and comfortable Bed and Breakfast where you will feel at home during your stay. Their goal is to make your visit memorable and relaxing and help you with any site seeing or travel plans that you may need.
The home offers luxurious guest rooms and several common areas, including a front parlor with fireplace, a library with movies, books, travel brochures and free internet on the computer. There is also free wireless internet access in all rooms, a 16' x 32' indoor heated pool and a large formal dining where a full breakfast is served. We have lots of free onsite parking. Great location to public transportation with direct buses to downtown Richmond, the sky train to downtown Vancouver,  Steveston, YVR Airport & Ferries. Lots of Restaurants, pubs, shops and entertainment just down the street, Riverport entertainment centre with Silver city Famous Players movie cinema and Ironwood shopping centre are all within walking distance.
 The Doorknocker Bed and Breakfast is a great getaway retreat, you'll feel like your in the country during your stay in this city.
